Mint sweaters for American Girl dolls

Spread the love

I’ve finished two sleeveless sweaters for my American Girl dolls.

For the first one I’ve used a pattern from a Chinese knitting magazine for the central part of the sweater . It was hard to knit because I had followed the pattern even in wrong rows and the wrong row had “p2tog” or “p2tog-tbl”. Yet the efforts were worth this! I can clearly see lily-of-the-valley flowers on the leaves in the center of the sweater. You see them also, don’t you?

For the second sweater I also used a pattern from Chinese magazine, but it really simple, comparing with previous one.

  • WOW this is beautiful! You are a great knitter 🙂 I can see the flowers very clearly. It really is gorgeous and looks great with the faux suede trousers.
    Well done!

I think Caroline has been spoilt with new sweaters 🙂

    • Thank you, Sharon!

Caroline is such a modest girl that it’s hard to spoil her 🙂 Especially when she waited new outfits for a few years 🙂

  • I really love this pattern! I also love the second sweater you made from the same pattern. Would you be willing to share it?

    • I am very pleased that you like the sweaters, thank you! But I didn’t write down the pattern itself. It’s ordinary raglan pattern, started from the neck. And I knit it usually without any patterns. So sorry!
